Some information about Bicarbonate of soda.

Bicarbonate of soda.

A paste from baking soda can be very effective when used in cleaning and scrubbing. For cleaning aluminum objects, the use of sodium bicarbonate is discouraged as it attacks the thin non-reactive protective oxide layer of this otherwise very reactive metal. A solution in warm water will remove the tarnish from silver when the silver is in contact with a piece of aluminium foil

White vinegar

White vinegar is often used as a household cleaning agent. Because it is acidic, it can dissolve mineral deposits from glass,

For most uses, dilution with water is recommended for safety, and to avoid damaging any of the surfaces beingĀ  cleaned.
